The Original MakeUp Eraser
These were given to me as a Christmas gift from my bestie and I had to share them with you! New year means new ways to reduce waste with your everyday items. I stopped using makeup wipes years ago because of how bad they are on the environment, but that means I end up doing a cheap job at washing my face. I do own the very awesome TAO Clean ONA Diamond Facial Brush which I wrote about here, that is great but sometimes I just want to keep it simple.
With these makeup eraser wipes, I can easily and quickly clean my face with just water and save 3600 single use makeup wipes from going to the landfill! The Original MakeUp Eraser is high quality polyester cloth made up of millions of tiny hair-like fibers that work together to create a "suction" for all dirt, makeup, & oil in your pores. Double-sided to erase makeup with the short fibers side & exfoliate the skin with the long fiber side (side with tag). You can wash off all your makeup using this and water including waterproof mascara, eyeliner, foundation, and lipstick. All you have to do is wash the wipes first to activate the fibers and you are ready to use them.
After soaking the eraser in warm water, (the warmer and wetter the better) use the side without the tag that has the short fiber side to erase your makeup in circular motions. Once you are done with that, flip the eraser over and use the long fibered side to exfoliate in circular motions again. I got the 7-day pack so I can wash them all at the end of the week with my hand towels. They say the best way to keep them like new is to machine wash hot and dry with your towel load. It apparently causes the most friction and will help them come out clean and perfect every time.
